Commentary: Ohio, Carroll County chambers of commerce applaud recent approval of Rover Pipeline

After a review process lasting over two years, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission has finally approved construction of the Rover Pipeline and set the project on to operation. This much-anticipated decision was welcomed by the 8,000 businesses represented by the Ohio Chamber of Commerce because our members understand that what’s best for Ohio’s economy is what’s best for Ohioans. The Rover Pipeline is sure to be the ultimate economic stimulus package.

Analysis: U.S. shale investment is back on the upswing

Global upstream oil and gas merger and acquisitions reached $136 billion in 2016, according to Evaluate Energy's global M&A 2016 review. And one area seeing a jump in activity was the U.S. Marcellus shale, where close to eight times more was invested in asset and corporate acquisitions in 2016 than in 2015.

Columbia Gas sponsors statewide egg hunt to promote natural gas safety

Columbia Gas of Ohio announced a statewide egg hunt to promote natural gas safety. The Columbus egg hunt will take place on Wednesday April 12th from noon to 2 p.m. at the Columbus Commons.

Columbia Gas said participants will have the chance to sniff out hidden eggs for a chance to win $100 gift card.
